The private JourneyPure coaching app creates a customized recovery plan to help you reach daily, weekly and monthly recovery goals. It’s accessible 24/7 and connects directly to your Accountability Coach (a real person also in recovery).
Your coach is there for support. to walk hand-in-hand with you through your first year of recovery. They are an ear for listening, a resource library and an advocate for you and your recovery. All coaches are in recovery themselves so they understand the struggle and how to overcome it.
Why should I use the JourneyPure app?
The app holds you accountable for making healthy choices every day – like taking your medication, attending meetings and taking time for reflection. The little things you do each day matter. The healthy habits you create help prevent relapse, especially in the first, critical year.
Plus, you get rewarded for staying active on the app. As you check off daily tasks, you earn points that can be redeemed for gift cards. Using the app is a win-win for you.
What are the results with the app?
The JourneyPure app also helps us track and improve our treatment.
Outcome surveys are self-reported through the app. Then, our data is validated with in-network managed care organizations that track the same data (sobriety rates, unnecessary and costly hospital visits, employment rates).
For example, Anthem reviewed our data against their claims data and found that data fidelity scores were within 2% of their data.
The app measures 26 points of success at quarterly intervals, but we use 84% as our success rate which represents the minimum percentage of patients reporting sobriety at the 6-month mark.
This metric matches how the National Institute on Drug Abuse measures success in their highly-cited 2018 article. In this report, the success rate is much lower than JourneyPure’s 84%, reported at only 40-60%.
A screenshot from our app technology showing current real-time outcome data, which actually shows an 86% success rate on this metric, an improvement over our 84% standard.
Prior to any patient discharging our care, they complete a survey in the app. We have never had less than 95% of patients report that they would refer a loved one to JourneyPure if they needed similar services.
A screenshot of the satisfaction report data, pacing right at 96%.
