When I made the first phone call, I had so many questions. I had no idea what to expect. I'd never been through anything like this before. They answered all my questions and even called me back to make sure that I didn't have any more questions.

When I arrived my family, friends and the probation officer thought there was no fixing me. They broke me down and poured pure love into you and they fixed this torn soul.

What is inpatient rehab like?

Medical Detox

Medical Detox

The first step is getting the drugs and alcohol out of your system. This usually takes a few days. Know that with medical detox, withdrawal symptoms are kept manageable. It’s nothing like stopping cold turkey.

Dual Diagnosis

Dual Diagnosis

Core to treatment here is figuring out the root issues that fuel your behaviors. This most typically includes depression, anxiety and trauma. Then, those separate mental health issues are treated with therapy and sometimes medications like antidepressants that rebalance the brain.

Inpatient Treatment

Inpatient Treatment

The majority of your time is spent in therapy and educational groups, but it’s not as boring as it sounds. It’s a relief to talk to people that understand and it feels good to make progress every day. To break up intense sessions, therapeutic elements like music therapy, social bonding, meditation and pet therapy are incorporated.

Aftercare Support

Aftercare Support

Treatment here isn’t about getting sober, it’s about staying sober. You leave with a real plan and an Alumni Coach who has been there before and you can turn to any time you need advice.

How to Overcome Excuses

What would you say to someone using their job or kids as an excuse not to get help?

What would you say to someone using their job or kids as an excuse not to get help?

I would have them think about how much more productive of an employee or actively involved parent they can be when they are sober and have developed the tools needed to maintain sobriety.

What would you say to someone using money as an excuse?

We will work with you. There’s no price on getting your life back. Also, you can find out if you’re eligible for Medicaid or apply for Medicaid now.

What if someone doesn’t think you can help them?

The team here comes from a very diverse background and lived, like you, in addiction. We know exactly what you’re going through. Thoughts like “I can do this on my own” or “I’m too far gone” are just plain lies. You can do this. And, we can help.
