The medical, therapeutic, and holistic treatments used here are strictly evidence-based. We constantly refine our program with new, innovative options by accessing the latest in scientific research and technology. We then evaluate their effectiveness based on our own data. Our methods move the entire industry forward. It’s also why the people who come here actually get better.
In addition to the on-campus psychiatrist and medical doctor, the therapists here are also Master’s- or doctorate-level. That means most of the people treating you have at least eleven years of formal education, on top of years of experience in the field and personal connections to addiction.
Drug and alcohol abuse is usually a symptom of bigger issues. Our rehab in Kentucky focuses on what’s underneath the negative behaviors and cultivate coping skills for each person to live well. For example, if trauma is a factor, EMDR therapy will be a core part of your treatment plan. If religion helps you find a higher purpose, strengthening spirituality will be a focus. Each substance abuse treatment plan is personalized to each individual to maximize the time spent here.
If you are struggling with addiction, if you really want to stop but feel like you just can't do it, do not hesitate to call JourneyPure. They are a fantastic group of people who really care about helping each and every person that walks through their doors. I didn't think I would ever find a way to break the hold that addiction had over me, but soon after getting there, I was able to see how powerless I was. They helped me develop a new routine and ways to cope with life's problems without drugs or alcohol. I can't say enough good things about this place. If you are really ready to stop, you will not regret going through this program. A+++
Gave my daughter back her dad! Enough said.
JourneyPure Bowling Green has changed my life. This is the first time I have ever been to a rehabilitation center. It was not at all what I expected, but it was exactly what I needed. The staff here is great and willing to help in every way possible even while planning your discharge. I would recommend it to anyone serious about recovery.
My initial impression was skeptical and I am so happy that I fought through that and gave this place and these people a chance. The facility has a beating heart and a kind soul. A special place for complicated people. I felt more than a number or an insurance claim. I felt part of a family. I truly feel that God brought me here for a reason.
This place was GREAT! I feel like they helped me with much more than I expected.
When I was at the lowest point in my drinking, with no hope of being able to stop, I came to Journey Pure. I thought it was just going to be another treatment center where they just introduce you to the 12 steps, then put you back out there. But, they have such an amazing way of doing things. They work with you individually with great counselors. They go into detail about the disease of addiction and alcoholism. Upon release, they also work with you to make sure you're going to a supportive environment. Love the staff. They are always there for you. Even today, if I just need to talk, they are there. Highly recommended if your looking for a new way of life and an awesome journey to becoming a clean and sober person!

Even if you're not ready to commit to JourneyPure or not sure if you want treatment at all, talk about what's going on with someone that's been there before. You'll feel better and more informed after you call, I promise.
Insurance covers the majority of your cost here! How much you owe depends on deductable and co-insurance rates set by each policy. Don't worry, we'll call your insruance company, then explain the details of your specific insurance policy. You can privately submit insurance information online.
(If you don't have insurance, you still have options. We can talk about that too.)
Our locations often operate on waiting lists, but we're as accommodating as possible with the schedule. It helps to call early in your decision process and come in while you're still motivated.
The first thing you notice when you walk in is an overwhelming sense of hope and compassion. You're surrounded by people that actually understand what you're going through.
Intensive cognitive-behavioral therapies aren't as boring as they sound. You tackle issues hiding behind drugs and alcohol like trauma, depression or anxiety. And, you graduate feeling better than ever with a plan and a coach to help you stay on track long after treatment ends.
Your kids, spouse, parents, siblings, and friends are all better off with you sober. You know that. They all want to see you happy and healthy long-term. Don’t use them as an excuse to delay treatment.
You’re not going to get fired for seeking medical care. There are laws that protect most jobs. We’ll help you with any paperwork and check-ins that might be required by your employer. (You’re more likely to get fired the longer you delay substance abuse treatment).
It’s normal to have tons of questions about substance abuse, mental health and treatment programs. The good news is that we have answers. Let’s talk about what’s going on. You don’t have to be “ready” for treatment to make the call.
If you’re asking the question, the answer is almost always yes. Most people who struggle with addiction spend years trying to convince themselves—and others—that they don’t need help. Denial is a symptom of the disease, made worse by any co-occurring disorder.
Whether it’s at one of our Florida facilities or somewhere else, don’t let excuses get in the way of turning your life around.
