A safe environment that combines personalized medical, holistic, and clinical therapies is what works. Why are we so sure? We see it every day—in thousands of success stories. That said, we’re constantly evaluating research as well as our own data to refine our program. Our innovations set new standards for the entire industry.
Effectively diagnosing and treating underlying issues is the only way to prevent mental blocks from fueling the cycle of relapse later. While other facilities may talk about dual-diagnosis, the concept is ingrained into our founding principles. Treatment here is not just about stopping your use of drugs and alcohol, it’s about finally healing your body, mind, and spirit.
Knowing how to push past denial and walls of addiction takes both knowledge and experience. Your clinical team here is all Master’s-level or above. Plus, our staff-to-client ratios are well below the standard to ensure you receive plenty of individual attention.
Before you leave treatment, you’re trained on an app with games to reward you for making healthy choices and connect you to your dedicated Recovery Coach. Your coach is in recovery too and will do everything they can to help you stay healthy. They catch up with you regularly in the first critical year and are available any time you feel triggered. From now on, you always have someone to turn to.
Upon arrival to JourneyPure I had hit rock bottom. Like many addicts, I felt I wasn't even worthy of treatment and that nothing and no one could help me. As soon as I got in, I knew I was in the right place. The staff not only makes you feel comfortable, but they also let you know you are not alone in the process. Through detox, the nurses and doctors were adamant about making me as comfortable as possible. After moving to the houses, I was still taken care of medically but began working on myself mentally and emotionally. The therapists were amazing. Also, the group activities like equine, kayaking and yoga allowed time to reflect on my intimate therapy sessions. It is such a beautiful atmosphere to begin recovery, very serene and soothing. I can't speak highly enough about the staff. They go above and beyond to accommodate each patient's specific needs. I feel that's very important. They truly want what's best for you not just while you're there but moving forward too. They set me up with an amazing sober living home, something I never tried before. That decision was life-changing. JourneyPure gave me the tools I needed to begin a new life in recovery, and then some. Also, it's awesome that they stay in touch with you to see how you're doing after leaving. They've made me feel like I have a family I've never had before. I have been to many of the alumni meetings as well, and it's a great way to stay connected. I highly recommend this facility.
Great place. They make you feel comfortable and cared for, while also helping you process your grief and trauma. 5/5, would go back if I needed to (but I don't because they rock).
Quality counseling. Amazing staff with which I still have relationships to this day. Clean and comfortable facilities. Most importantly, many success stories from here. Being one myself, I would highly recommend JP to anyone in need of help for addiction.
This is a great place if you really wanna get clean. The pictures are what they look like. It's a beautiful place with lots of activities, beautiful river scene. You can go kayaking and fishing. The staff really does care. They're always there and staff will come in if they're not there or off work if you need them. Very accommodating! Recommend it if you're serious about getting help.
JourneyPure saved my life! I have been to treatment multiple times and seen all spectrums, and this is the best program I have experienced! The groups are led by trained professionals and not just techs. Also, it has a lot of diversity that allows different types of group settings which helped me to stay engaged. Equine and adventure groups were crazy fun, and I truly found myself. It is what u put in it and this place made it easy to give my all. Thanks, JourneyPure I am forever grateful!
The top addiction professionals from across Tennessee are drawn here because of our reputation. If you've tried treatment before, you know how critical it is to get individualized attention from people who actually care.

Telling yourself that things “aren’t bad enough” for treatment is probably the denial and fear of your addiction talking.
Like any disease, the earlier you address it, the better. If you’re steadfast against inpatient rehab, at least give outpatient treatment a chance. It can only help.
You may worry about missing out, but the truth is you’re missing out now when your thoughts are preoccupied on your next fix or you’re too sick or high to show up. Your family, kids, and spouse are all better off with you sober. (And you know it.)
If you have a job, it’s likely protected by law. We’ll help you with the paperwork and remain discrete. We’ve never seen anyone lose their job because they came here, though we see many people wait until drugs or alcohol lost them their job to seek help.
Even if you’re feeling powerless, there’s always hope! Most people seek treatment after honest conversations with the people who love them. Approach your loved one with other family members or friends and without judgment. You probably have more leverage than you think to persuade them to make the right choice. If they are willing, we’re happy to talk with them or help you find an interventionist.
People who stuggled for decades have turned things around here. It’s never too late, and you’re never too lost to start a new, healthy life. You CAN do this! We will show you how.
It’s normal to have tons of questions about your treatment options. We’ll do our best to give you a good look at what treatment here is all about, but addiction is a personal topic. Your healthcare coverage and exact treatment plan is specific to just you.
Call us anytime to ask questions about our locations, see if you’d owe anything out-of-pocket, or just talk about what’s going on. You don’t have to be committed to treatment here to make the call and get answers.

People travel from across the state to get help here. But, we also have inpatient rehabs in Knoxville, as well as outpatient options in Nashville, Norris, Knoxville, Franklin, and Clarksville. Plus, a specialty program for doctors and nurses and a campus in Florida, if you need a further escape.
